Ancestor Dump Dish
This is something I love to eat at this time of year. It's the equivalent of a savory dump cake.
I know it’s from a box and cans. This is how I learned to make it. If you can make it from scratch, I’d love to try your recipe! It’s still good, still nostalgic, and still brings back memories of past meals with my extended family.
1/4 stick Melted Butter
2 Cans Creamed Corn
1 tsp honey (or to taste)
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Box Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
Mix ingredients together; grease 9 x 13 pan and bake 350 for 1 hour.
See? Super easy spoonbread. It’s warm and has that nice savory-sweet mix of flavors that are very homey for me.
