Enchantment
This month we’re straight-up enchanting. I personally would do this spell on a full moon (the 26th) for all the power, but depending on what you choose for your enchantment, the new moon (the 11th, the day after my BIRTHDAYYYYYYYYY) may work as well.
Working The Spell
You’re going to enchant your necklace (or whatever you want- it doesn’t have to be anything I sent you). You choose what you want it to be for- protection, creativity, courage, kindness (either to or from you), whatever. Once you figure that out you can move on.
If you cast a circle or call corners, go ahead and do that now. Light the charcoal (safely please- if you aren’t sure about this part please message me) and add a pinch of the witchcraft incense. If you don’t want to light charcoal, you can put witchcraft-enhancing incense in an oil warmer (with oil) instead.
If you like, you can dress a purple candle. Choose herbs depending on your task and who you’re asking to help. Hekate is the goddess of witchcraft so that’s who I will ask to assist me. I’ll probably use some patchouli and mugwort and maybe some dragonsblood for her as offering.
Let the deity or the Universe know that the herbs on the candle are being offered up to it, and in return that you ask for their help in achieving the goal. Pass the elder straw and the piece you’re enchanting through the smoke and know that it’s being cleansed, ready to be imbued with the power you want. Then pull in energy from the Universe and feel it swirl inside- for me it’s generally in my diaphragm. Transform the energy to fit your purpose. For me the energy has color as well. Health is blue or green, vengeance is red or burnt orange, luck is teal, happiness is rose. Compassion is usually lavender. Feel and see it swirl inside you. Then take a deep breath, put the straw to your lips, and force that energy into the pendant (or whatever). I blow slowly but firmly because I want my breath to last over the whole thing. In my mind’s eye I see the glitter (I am the least glittery person I know but my magic breath is, for some reason, glitter, I don’t know, whatever, just go with it) lightly falling onto the piece, glowing as it touches, and then sinking in, like melting snow.
If you don't have an elder straw (straw made from the wood of an elder tree), you can just use your breath. That's how I usually do most of my magic- I just found these straws and thought they were so cool I wanted to share. .
When you finish your breath, close your circle and thank any deities, spirits, or entities with whom you worked.
Update the spell by charging the piece under the moon under the same phase you performed the working.
