Okay it’s officially summer for real now. I don’t care what calendars say, either- if it’s over 100, it’s summer, and the forecast says several days over 100 here. SO. SUMMER.
I know summer stresses people out- here’s a little self-care box to sooth your hot-ass soul. And body.
What’s in the box:
Foaming bath milk (contains shea and cocoa butter so BE CAREFUL! Tub will be slippery!)
Summer floral oil
Homegrown luffa
Copper and dove-gray moonstone pendant
Bee wind spinner
Fun dip
Rose & Earl Grey Tea Drops
YAWP sticker
Rope incense
Super cute candle
Peach satin spar worry stone (aka selenite) for calm
Deluxe boxes also got botryoidal hematite
I didn’t put herbs or whatever in it because I want it to be a relaxing bath that you can just get up from, and not have to worry about a teabag full of leaves and sticks or whatever. It should get frothy AF, based on my foaming tests. There is whole milk powder, epsom salts, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (the foaming agent/surfactant), and shea and coconut butters. The butters *will* leave your tub greasy/slipper so BE CAREFUL! And be sure to wash the tub after. You can use the oil (plumeria and rose) as a candle dressing oil, or add a few drops to the bath as the powder is unscented.
Make yourself a nice cup of tea (easy with Tea Drops!), run the bath, light a candle and maybe some incense. As the incense smoke wafts around the room, imagine it catching all the stress and anxiety and holding it down and away from you- as the smoke disperses, it’s taking the gross uncomfortable feelings with it. Put on some nice music and just enjoy the bath!
Dove moonstone helps with calming, soothing emotions so put the pendant on whenever you want. Or just hold it, hang it from your bedpost, carry it around, use it as a pendulum… all sorts of ways to use it besides just wearing it.
The fun dip and the wind spinner are for entertainment, basically. But isn’t it cute?
I grew the luffa last summer and I told it as it grew that it was gonna bring some good cleansing to the people that used it, so it’s well magicked up!
