Prosperity with Jupiter

It’s June. It’s finally summer! Warmth and light are here! This month I decided to work on some prosperity stuff, and to ask for Jupiter’s help in the matter. I found these *lovely* menorah candles that are perfect for honoring him, as they’re in colors he prefers.

I also made a Jupiter dressing oil, and prosperity herbs for dressing. Here’s what’s in the box!

Blue quartz, because he loves the blue! And if you use color magic and work with chakras, blue is the color of the throat chakra. This may help you in asking for what you want in our prosperity spell!

The plus tiers are also getting a copper pendant with the symbol for Jupiter on it, plus Gebo and Dagaz so we can have a beautiful and lovely gift of a day. Wear it on days you need to gas yourself up to help you build that prosperity you deserve, whether it be to an interview, to give a class, or even just to work to help you get through it.

So we’re gonna shake our asses for Jupiter this month. He loves to be celebrated.

First set up your space. Straighten up the couch or desk, maybe dust if it needs to be done. Sweep, light some incense, get yourself in the right mood. Choose some music that you know makes you want to boogie, and turn it on. Take the candle and anoint it with the oil. Usually if I want to bring something in I’ll anoint from the top and pull it towards the bottom, to pull things “in”- and the opposite if I’m trying to remove something. In this case I’d pull in, because I want to bring in prosperity and hopefully money. You decide what sort of prosperity you want- food security, a more prosperous relationship with your spouse or in your household overall, good word of mouth, which is what I want so I can build my business, or even just plain old money.
So anoint your candle, then roll it in the herbs. Set it up at your alter or wherever you work. Write out your intention/request, either on a bay leaf or a small piece of paper. If you have a fireproof burn bowl, put some salt in the bottom. If you don’t skip the burning part and fold it and put it under the candle holder. If you can burn it, light the candle and focus on it for a minute or two. Think about how life is with this new prosperity. Enjoy it! Breathe onto the paper to activate it- give it life. Speak to it, tell it how great things are in this prosperous life. Then tell Jupiter what you want. Try to be specific. I’ve had good luck in offering a barter. Example: “If I get what I need, I’ll take that prosperity and spread it to others. If I get this new job/X% raise/the relationship improves, I’ll repay the universe in kind by donating Y% to food banks once a month, or offer to babysit for my friend, or ask her out for lunch and pay.”

Then turn the music up and shake ya ass! Tell Jupiter the celebration is for him, and invite him in to have a good time with you. You could also pour a little glass of something good, a little drank, wine, liquor, I don’t know, and leave it next to the candle as another offering. When the candle goes out, or you get too tired, thank him for the movement, the good time, and for the help. Then be sure you hydrate bc that’s important.
