Community

It’s hot. Welcome to August. It’s the month before Anahata’s, known for growing a feeling of community. I want to share that with those of us who aren’t going, so we’re getting the community box now! 

Inside the box:

• Personalized journal

• Community candle made with herbs contributed by myself, and other Bees

• Spell pen to fill with herbs, stones, sand, flowers, crystals, or anything else you find helps remind you of our connection

• Temporary tattoos

• Boba kit because FUN 

• Bee “Together we rise” charm

• Amazonite- the cool blue-green stone is said to soothe and bring peace

• Deluxe boxes: fluorite carved moon faces

Ok SO. First you’re gonna open the candle and smell it a little bit. Blow into it in case there’s any loose stuff that might flare up. Think about the group you’re connecting with. Have you met any of us in person? I think most of you have met at least one other Bee. Think of us all going through these movements, smelling the same smells, holding our candles close to our faces. Then light the candle and set it aside.
Grab the pen, the bee charm, and the notebook and write a list of what you want FROM community, and what you hope to add TO the community. Grab the charm and a metal bowl or a pot or whatever. Pull the sheet of paper out of the notebook that has your community list on it. Hold it in the flame of the community candle and light it, then let it burn in the metal bowl. Hold the charm in the smoke of the paper as it burns. The smoke will go into the air, and the wind will bring the ash and the intention to all of us, as we bless our own charms. Then when we wear them, we’re all sharing those feelings and wishes for one another, even if we’re physically distant from one another. On Saturday September 7, the people going to Anahata’s will be at the fire together probably around 8pm eastern. So make sure we all set clocks so we can all focus on hanging out “together” at that time! Light your candle and if you get on Marco, get on Marco, and we’ll all hang out there for a few minutes together.
