Mirrored Flowers
Is it Spring yet? While we’re all experiencing batshit crazy weather, I think it’s safe to say that at this point, Spring has sprung. While I’m including a nod to “Spring flowers” in this box, it’s mainly about mirror magic. A mini mirror “box”, in fact, for reflection upon one’s actions, or to help someone see themselves.
Included in the box:
A compact with a protective bee emblem and 2 mirrors
Black tarot blanks
White gel pen
Pressed flowers
Labradorite necklace to enhance your magical work
Flower quartz moons (spring flowers!)
Gluten free mini muffin
Mushroom coffee
Divination gem: “water”
Chakras rope incense sample
The card blanks are for imaginative play. Make sigil cards and display them on your altar. Make a card for Spring using the pressed flowers. Press your OWN flowers with the press you got last May to make more. Make a fancy grocery list if you want.
As for the mirror- Here are a few ways to use it. I won’t write out a spell specifically, because part of what I want to do with these boxes is help you figure out your OWN magic, and how to create it.
If someone is being a dickbag, I might want them to reflect on themselves and what they’re doing. Maybe I’d write a letter to them describing the effects of their behavior, print a photo of the person or write their name on the back of the letter, fold them up, and close them up in the mirror. Then I’d put the mirror on my altar or somewhere I’d see it often. When I saw it, it would remind me to tell them to look at what they’re doing, and maybe shake the mirror a little to “shake them up” and snap them out of it.
If I want a friend to be nicer to themself (or for me to), I’d write out wonderful things about them. Accomplishments, what I like about them, whatever, just good stuff. Then I’d again do the picture or their name, maybe some rose petals or some honey powder, and put it on the altar with a rose quartz on top.
If you have a specific thing you want to work on, you could design a sigil or bindrune and put it on one of the tarot cards. Open the mirror and put it on your altar and reflecting yourself into it, but also reflecting the intention you put on the card- bouncing them back into one another.
