It’s spooky season!  We’re gonna do some work with our ancestors, spirit team, who or whatever it is that you work with.

First let’s look at the mirror. You can use this to share an offering with spirits or ancestors- basically the mirror acts as a “window to the other side”. The sigil is “My ancestors help and protect me”. Cleanse the mirror (salt water, florida water, moonlight, regular old water, or smoke), place it on your altar, and add your food, drink, or other offering on it so you can see it reflected in the mirror. If you do a silent supper for the 31st, you can put it on the table and do the same. Do you eat or drink your offerings? Sometimes I do- food and water are hard to come by, and it feels disrespectful to throw it out. I might also give it to the animals or plants. What do you do with yours? The spellcrafting dice are something I’ve been working on for a while. There is a “suggested use” card inside to explain how to use them. I keep mine in the same bag I keep my tarot cards in. You can ask for help from your spirit team on which method you should use, what you should include in the working, and if you’re done or need to add a couple more things. 

Same for the flip coin!  Use it to decide yes/no questions, or if you have 2 options. I worked with it to ask which side meant yes vs no. Now I use it in the mornings before I do a card pull. Instead of spending a lot of time being frustrated with tarot when it just doesn’t want to work, I ask the coin if I’m supposed to do a card pull that day.
I cleanse the coin and dice before and after use by passing it through incense smoke. 

I haven’t used the smoke bomb yet so it’s going to be a big experiment for all of us. If you get some really good smoke please post a pic in the facebook group or on Discord!

I just added the soap on a whim. Anahata’s is this month and I thought it would be fun to have for those of us going, and they’re pretty neat even if you aren’t.
