Corey B. Ace of Cups, Reversed
Deck: Ephemere by True Black Tarot
The Ace of Cups upright brings us to a place of love, new beginnings, and creativity. 2025 brings us to the Ace of Cups Reversed. For the coming year, focus on YOU. Self-love and self care are the highlights of the year. Taking care of yourself is REQUIRED for doing the work that is needed. Processing your emotions as they come and living in the moment are important aspects that can never be perfected, but should be strived for. “Put on your own mask before assisting others.”
January
Jayne. Strength
Deck: Tarotorial
We all know this coming year will be full of surprises both good and difficult. The Strength card encourages us to move forward with Confidence, Compassion, and Focus. With a balance of physical action and spiritual strength we have what we need to start of the year with Strength.
February
DaNae. 3 of Cups
Deck: Crow Tarot
I asked the cards what event or knowledge do we most need to know to prepare for February. We see a crow looking down on three of their five cups that have spilled into the river. There's two left that are full behind them and they aren't noticing it due to their loss. This to me, feels like we need to prepare ourselves for some sort of shitty news that creates some heavy emotions; sadness, grief, regret, etc. But what we are forgetting is that not all is lost, we have those two cups, and what were 'spilled' will just add to the river. The river being the collective energy we are able to pull power and influence from. We pull and fill our cups from the collective energy and if we happen to fail at something or perceive failure from another that disappoints us, and our cup spills, it's fine. We can transmute that energy to fill more cups. In the card, you can see a path through the trees, that is the way forward. By seeing and experiencing this loss/disappointment, we can then see the path we make our way to. And we can't allow ourselves to linger too long with regrets and looking back, we will miss the signs and experiences that allow us to move forward toward the life we want for ourselves and for others.
I wish it was a more positive card, but maybe we just add a wee bit more of self care than usual to prepare for some emotionally charged news/event. And if I'm completely full of shit then we got extra self care and didn't have to get disappointed.
March
Jessica. The Fool
Deck: Rider Waite Smith
The perfect card for March and the Spring Equinox. New beginnings, new ventures. We have the skills as Witches. We know the rules of the Universe. With this knowlege, we can find a way around any obstacle that may stand in our way as we move through the world. The Fool inspires us to move forward, allowing new experiences to shape us. And in turn, we too will shape the world.
April
Kat. The Wildling
Deck: Threads of Fate Oracle
This is the first time I have ever pulled this card from my favorite Oracle deck. The wildling wants us to connect to our most primal parts, listen to our deepest knowings without the influences of others around you.
The Wildling is raw, it makes us feel empowered and independent. Wildlings burn contracts and norms. Then dive head first into the woods on instinct. Most people are intimidated by The Wildling because they do not operate on social norms. Wildlings strive for their radical freedom.
The Wildling comes to our side when we feel the need to break free from any system that is limiting us. It reminds us of the time when we would walk barefoot on our own lands and live in alignment with nature. A good way to connect is to dive deep into our body, mind and soul. To hear what we need on a primal level.
Balanced Wildlings prioritize their freedom, but must remain grounded. Their personal developments may not be understood by others because it is run by their own needs and emotions.
Unbalanced wildlings are chaos, avoidance and bandaids for their internal diseases. They may move on to things that are never ending and never what they hoped for.
During this time we must pay the taxes to our systems, our annoying social norms. But look forward to the abundance of spring, rejoice and ground ourselves into the blooming land! Wealth is coming our way! We just have to prioritize our needs from our wants to be able to be our true feral wildling selves.
May
Angela. The Empress
Deck: Supernova Tarot
My interpretation: Lush growth, beauty, creation... The Empress makes a beautiful card for May. At this time of year, most of us are in the warmer, late springtime, when things aren't just beginning, they're flourishing. At the time I pulled this, the song "I Release Control" by Alexis Sunshine Rose came on, in which she repeats a mantra of: "I release control and surrender to the flow of love that will heal me." I felt this was very fitting for the card as well. The Empress is an embodiment of Love in all forms, including the healing, guiding energy we sometimes (often) need to surrender to. Open yourself to that Love. Now is time to surrender and expand into that Love, release some control - those seeds we planted in spring, literal and metaphorical, are you maybe trying to control the outcome of their growth? Surrender to Love (which accepts and doesn't seek to control) to truly nurture yourself and others.
From the book: Creation, boundless love, tender care, beauty in every form. The Empress is eternally abundant with creative potential. She infuses love into both the actions and manifestations of life, enabling her to nurture them wholeheartedly. Self-love becomes the essential key to loving others without seeking compensation or completion. Her dominion is that of the arts and comprehensive beauty.

Numerology : 1
Astrological Correspondence: Mercury
Elements : All
Companion Cards: Wheel of Fortune and The Sun
Intuitive Meaning:
You have everything you need at your fingertips, but you are lost in the woods unsure how to reach out and grab it. The Magician is the first of the bridges between our realm and the spirit realm and it is an encouraging energy to become the architect in your own life.
Don't lose your confidence and remember who you are, you can accomplish greatness and do wonderful things, if you get out of your comfort zone. Remember, everything you need is already inside you - reach out and grab it - ask for help if you need it - but don't sell yourself short during June.

Kacie.12-Porcupine. Innocence.
Deck: Medicine Cards: The Discovery of Power Through the Ways of Animals
The South of the medicine wheel is the place of childlike innocence and humility. It is the home of playfulness, and the position of Porcupine on the medicine wheel of life.
Porcupine has many special qualities, and a very powerful medicine: the power of faith and trust. The power of faith contains within it the ability to move mountains. The power of trust in life involves trusting that the Great Spirit has a divine plan. Your task is to find the pathway that is most beneficial for you and that uses your greatest talents to further that plan. Trust can open doorways to the creation of space. The space thus created allows others to open their hearts to you and to share their gifts of love, joy, and companionship.
If you were to observe Porcupine, you would immediately notice its quills. These quills are only used when trust has been broken between Porcupine and another creature. Much like Otter, Porcupine is a gentle, loving creature, and non-aggressive. When fear is not present, it is possible to feed a Porcupine by hand and never get stuck by its quills.
Through understanding the basic nature of this animal, you may come to understand your own need for trust and faith, and for becoming like a child again. In today's society, this is a needed reminder to honor the wonder of life and the appreciation of each new day as an adventure of discovery.
Porcupine sat silently, looking at a hollow log. She wondered if it was a playhouse that nature had created just for her. Porcupine envisioned all the things she could do with the log. She could climb on top and make the log roll from side to side. She could go inside and see if there were any juicy worms for herdinner. She could also scratch her back on the rough outer bark if she wanted to.
Just as Porcupine was pondering what to do next, she saw Bear approaching. Bear was big and black and looking for honey. "Oh, another playmate to share my log," she thought.
"Hello, Bear," she cooed. "Do you want to play and share my log with me?"
Gruff old Bear snorted, "Porcupine, don't you know that I'm too old to play? You're in my way. I'm looking for honey.
Go away!"
"Why Bear, you're never too old to play," she replied. "If you forget what it was like to be a cub, you'll always be as impatient and gruff as you are now."
Bear began to think about what Porcupine had said. Maybe she was right. All the other creatures had run away from Bear in fright. Even the other Bears had turned up their noses when he growled at them. This little Porcupine was certainly trusting him not to eat her. She even offered to be his friend.
The old Bear looked at Porcupine and began to feel something move inside him. He started to remember the games he had played as a cub. Joy started to live in him again.
"Little Porcupine, you have reminded me that in becoming strong and seeking answers, I got caught in trying to be an intellectual. I became afraid of what others would think if I dropped my mask of gruffness. I was afraid they wouldn't take me seriously anymore. You have taught me that in being a fuddy-duddy, I was causing others not to care for me. Thank you. I'd love to play with this old log."
And so it was that Bear became childlike again and learned
the innocence of Porcupine.
In choosing the Porcupine card, you have given yourself a gentle reminder not to get caught in the chaos of the adult world where fear, greed, and suffering are commonplace. The medicine in this card is that of relief from seriousness and severity. Open your heart to those things that gave you joy as a child. Remember the preciousness of fantasy and imagination, and the making of some game or toy from nothing but scraps.
Honor the playfulness of spirit that lets everyone win.
CONTRARY:
In pulling the Porcupine card reversed, you are giving yourself a timely warning that you cannot win the game of life if you are too serious. In some area of your life, you may be feeling hurt or afraid of trusting again. It is possible that life has recently dealt you a hard blow. If this is so, it is time to begin again by placing faith in your ability to overcome the lesson with joy. Are you willing to trust yourself? If so, you might begin by writing down the feelings that come out of the situation. How can you, as your adult-self, comfort you, the child within, and teach your inner child how to have faith and trust again?
The ill-dignified Porcupine is belly-up, with its quills stuck in the ground. This is a rather defenseless position. You may be forcing yourself to be vulnerable so that you can regain your hope. Perhaps you needed to roll over to get your tummy patted.
This position could therefore indicate that you are ready to accept a little love from others. In any case, if you are not willing to trust again, this card is forcing you to look at why. Or at why not!
August
Sarah. 3 of Swords.
Deck: The Vision Guide
What do we need to cut out of our lives so something new can grow? You decide whether you wield the sword and make the change, or if you are the deer and the change happens to you.
September
Kimothy. 4 of Swords Reversed
Deck: Rider Waite Smith
When upright, the 4 of Swords can infer rest and peace. Three swords are hanging unneeded on the wall as a person rests peacefully below them, with another sword within reach below.
When reversed, it’s almost more of a threat- rest or else you’ll be forced to. Since this is pulled for the month of September, traditionally (at least in our hemisphere) a month of harvest and work. The fields are done producing, and are beginning to take their required rest. Time for us to do the same, before the madness of the holiday season overtakes us.
October
D. Page of Swords Reversed
Deck: Rider Waite Smith
We are seeking justice or trying to hold others accountable for their actions but we don't know the whole story and this can lead to misinterpretations or miscommunications. Basically we don't want to jump to conclusions here.
We need to stay focused and true- to ourselves, our word, our values- but we need to think before we speak. Having all the info before moving forward will make us better prepared when the time comes to act.
Even with the purest of intentions, we may accidentally hurt the wrong person if we don't have the clearest picture possible of what's going on.
November
Leah. 3 of Cups Reversed
Deck: Tarot of the Divine
Upright, it is the card of camaraderie, friendship, partying and indulgence.
Reversed, it indicates overindulgence, the fraying of bonds, untrustworthy relationships.
As we will approach the holidays in November 2025, I believe it will be a time where we are tested in our relationships. Cups is the suite of emotions and water, it might indicate a rocky emotional time. Being mindful of how we feel in a relationship and taking a step back if necessary might be useful in maintaining a certain peace.
December
Alex. 7 of Cups
Deck: Phantomwise Tarot
As the year is winding down and we are looking at the new year ahead, we have a lot of possibilities and ideas swirling around. We might be worn down from the dark part of the year and looking with excitement towards the solstice and the new year, or we might be energized by the past year. Regardless, we need to choose what to focus on and put our time and energy into it, rather than letting all of the options overwhelm us or pass us by.
